Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba’s The Honey Company, DreamWorks, and Haylie Duffs’ The Real Girls Kitchen hires Farmers Belly

Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba’s The Honey Company, DreamWorks, and Haylie Duffs’ The Real Girls Kitchen has hired Farmers Belly’s Briggidy and Charlie to cater events and are fans. Also, Yelp customers rate the Farmers Bellyfour-and-a-half stars out five. Farmers Belly is an Organic, Heirloom and local Fusion Cuisine food truck and catering company with a ‘Farm to Table’ theme.  Fresh, clean, and well cared for ingredients are the foundation for their fanciful creations, including burgers, wraps, panini, melts, salads and all natural sodas that can be purchased on the truck every day.

It is the brainchild of   two fun loving, self proclaimed silly people. It all began in a search for more healthy food. Farmer’s Belly was inevitable for Charlie and Briggidy as they found it more challenging to find healthy cuisine following the birth of their first child. “After we welcomed our silly, goofy, little bundle of joy we noticed how much harder it was to find food on the go that was healthy,” explained Briggidy. “That’s when we decided to throw caution to the wind and open our own restaurant…on wheels.”

Briggidy, part of this trio had been in the restaurant industry for 18 years. Starting as a hostess and working her way through every position, in the restaurant industry, from dishwasher, cook, manager, to corporate training manager, she learned every aspect of the kitchen and front of house. Briggidy, also has eight years in event designing/planning coupled with a BA in interior design under her belt.  Charlie, also part of the trio, has done a lot in catering the past five years. He has had the chance to serve celebrities and cater intimate affairs for groups of 25 to 700 members. Charlie has spent countless hours working side-by-side with chefs from a wide range of culinary backgrounds and absorbing their techniques and knowledge.  Before those adventures Charlie had the opportunity to work in fine dining restaurants for four years serving elegant meals and comfort foods prepared with a variety of exotic ingredients and robust flavors. This side by side cooking, and strict mentorships gave him a perfect foundation to begin his own kitchen. Together they make an outstanding team! Now, their little bundle of joy…what part does she play? “She keeps them young at heart and never lets us forget why we began this journey in the first place,” continued Briggidy.
